Position Objectives

Calumet County located in Chilton, Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to fill a part-time position (approximately 22.5 hours per week) in the Birth to 3 Program.

This position, under the general direction of the Aging & Disability Resource Center & Long-term Support Manager, will identify, diagnose and assess children with communicative or oral pharyngeal disorders or delays in development of communication skills. Using a family-centered approach, will provide recommendations, parent education and therapy to children found to have at least a 25% delay in the area of communication development. Performs related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

Qualified candidates must have Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution of higher education and registered under ch. 459, Wis. Stats., or licensed under ch. 115, Wis. Stats., and Public Instruction 3; at least two years of related experience in evaluating clients with delays in development of communication skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Licensed under ch. 115, Wis. Stats., and Wisconsin Public Instruction 3 (PI 3) Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.  Clinical Fellowship considered.  Must have or be able to obtain certification to bill through Medical Assistance.

Benefits

Salary:  $28.60 - $36.76 hourly, with a negotiable starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience.  Calumet County offers a complete benefit package.
