Position Objectives
Washington County, located in West Bend Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Human Services Director. The Washington County Human Services Department offers responsive and effective community programs to individuals and families challenged by disability, economic hardship, and safety concerns. Through the three divisions of Behavioral Health, Children and Families, and Economic Support, the dedicated staff of the Human Services department strives to support individuals and families as they achieve self sufficiency and social being. Under the direction of the Deputy County Administrator, the Human Services Director will oversee a budget of over $24 million and a staff of 130. They will be responsible for the development, administration, and direction of a comprehensive range of programs and services addressing community program and social services for Washington County.Minimum Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- Five years of experience in budgeting, planning and program management in a human services or related field, three of which were in a supervisory capacity.
- Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
Benefits
Starting annual salary range of $105,208 – $117,203.63 which will be based on experience. Washington County offers excellent benefits which include a comprehensive medical and dental package, PTO, LTD, STD, 457, and pension program.
