Position Objectives

Columbia County has an opening for a full-time Behavioral Health and Long Term Support Division Administrator within the Health and Human Services Department. Columbia County strives to offer programs and services which are individualized, strength based, culturally competent and community oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administration of mental health, substance abuse, and children’s disability services; assessment of community needs; develop and administer programs/services; supervise assigned staff and provide clinical supervision; ensure compliance with standards, policies and laws; maintain statistics and prepare reports; provide training and coordinate services with other county and community agencies.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college in a field directly related to the administration of human services, such as Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Human Service related field. Five (5) years of experience providing service in children’s disability, mental health or substance abuse program and three (3) years of supervisory experience. Specific experience in service provision to identified target groups preferred.

Benefits

Starting rate $32.391/hr.
